The cost includes four lunches each day. We can give you a range of accommodation options locally if you are staying overnight.
We would like as best we can to create a community over these weekends. To help with this we are inviting all to stay for dinner on Saturday 28 July and 11 August.
Each day will consist of a variety of meditations; talks and discussion on themes from the Buddhist tradition. The majority of the talks on Buddhism are from the modules Suryacitta wrote and taught on the Mindfulness and Compassion, (and Buddhist Philosophy) MSc at Coventry University. There will also be two guest speakers, to be confirmed, one for each weekend.
The weekends are suitable for anybody interested in Buddhism and how it can help them in their everyday lives. It is also suitable for mindfulness practitioners and teachers who want to explore the roots of this ancient practice.
