This mindfulness day retreat day is suitable for anybody interested in learning mindfulness and having a day of calm and rest. It is also aimed at those with an existing practice who wish to deepen their meditation practice with Suryacitta who is one of the most experienced teachers in the UK.

We will explore how to work with stress and other difficult situations

During the mindfulness day retreat, there will be opportunities to ask Suryacitta any questions about your practice, and how to use mindfulness to help you in your daily life, at home, at work and in your relationships.
There will be guided mindfulness meditations along with compassion meditation. Suryacitta will show you how to set up a regular meditation practice at home. There will also be some exploration of the fascinating roots of mindfulness.
There will be time for mindful walking in beautiful Bradgate Deer park just two-minute walk from the venue.
You will also have the opportunity to play with the delightful Border Collie dog, Jaya.
