Recent research has shown the percentage of stress-related absence in the workplace has doubled in the past year, rising from 5% in 2017 to 10% in 2018. 
Mindfulness in the Workplace helps to reduce sick leave, improve performance and have happier, more productive staff. A number of randomised controlled trials of workplace mindfulness-based training courses have found positive effects on burnout, wellbeing and stress; increased emotional resilience; greater ability to focus; deeper empathy for others and greater clarity of thinking and decision making. 
Our range of mindfulness courses can be carried out on site or at our venue, at convenient times, with all the necessary collateral and course follow up. Applied Mindfulness in the workplace 
Our applied workshops are a practical way to being mindful in your day to day working life. They include teaching and exploration of both mindfulness and working practices. Each workshop is a single event and suitable for beginners and for those who have tried mindfulness but not yet managed to build a practice. 
You can choose to attend a number of workshops or a single one to suit your need. All workshops have the same structure and cover: 
Discourse: Exploring concepts, models, quotes, poems and pictures. 
Meditations: These will be relevant to the theme of the workshop 
Attitudes and daily life practice: informal practices; integrations, activities, work-based tools and techniques. 
A workbook and access to mediations for home practice 
How to be “more” mindful at work 
This workshop explores how the elements of meditation, attitudes and work practices can be combined to enable you to take a more mindful approach to your working day and life. Impact of mindful self -awareness in the workplace 
It is often too easy to get swept up in the activities of the working day, carried along and seemingly loosing yourself in just getting through. This workshop is aimed to provide ways in which you can refocus on yourself and how you are working, coping and interacting in a busy work environment. How to be more compassionate in the workplace 
Compassion is an area often associated with a mindful approach. Generally being seen as being aware of the suffering of others, being non-judgemental and with a desire to take appropriate action to alleviate it. This is also an approach much need in the modern work place. Being mindfully compassionate is not just about taking action to help others, it is also about how you frame others suffering and how you cope with their suffering yourself. Of course you also need to have self-compassion in a world of constant challenges.  Ultimately it is about our relationships with others, which of itself is key to a healthy work life.
