What People Say

“Thank you Suryacitta for an inspiring and helpful 8 weeks. I think the impact will last much longer. A lot of food for thought. Thank you for the gentle facilitation. I had never experienced a course of this kind previously where the leader seemed to leave his ego behind, and it works.”

  • Who Are You?
If you are searching for that one person to change your life, just pause, and look in the mirror. The first time I properly started to consider this was during my early experiences of meditation. My teacher Suryacitta, spoke of a beautiful jewel which represents us. This jewel over time becomes covered in ice, the ice represents all of the beliefs that we take on from our culture, religion, family, friends and our experiences.
  • Mindful Time Management
Ongoing research suggest that mindfulness practices can bring real benefits when applied in work situations. A review of research into mindfulness in work concluded: ‘mindfulness influences attention, with downstream effects on functional domains of cognition, emotion, behaviour, and physiology. Ultimately, these domains impact key workplace outcomes, including performance, relationships, and well-being’ (Good et al. 2015: 118 - 115)
  • Simplicity of life
It is simple to meditate yet it can be extremely difficult; meditation can create whirlwinds in us and at the same time calm us; when we meditate we can be passive and let things come to our awareness, while we need to be active in our curiosity….
  • Meditation Retreats UK
Suryacitta writes about meditation retreats, he describes a typical meditation retreat and what their purpose is. He describes a retreat programme and how best to approach it. Best of all though he writes about what meditation is really about.
