This three-day intensive mindfulness course is the GOLD STANDARD eight-week course but run over 3 days. It is ideal for those who live anywhere in the UK and want to learn mindfulness from experienced teachers or for those who cannot commit to eight weeks.

Mindfulness of Breathing, Compassion meditation and Choiceless Awareness. Suryacitta and Gaynor will share tools and techniques for use in everyday life to help calm the mind and deal with difficult situations.

This silent meditation retreat will be led by Suryacitta who has 30 years experience of retreats and practice. During the silence, there will be teaching from Suryacitta on meditation and other themes. 
 
A silent retreat allows us to take time out from our busy lives and to rest, and to focus ourselves on our meditation practice. 
 
This is a non-residential retreat but for those who live a distance away, there is local accommodation which we can supply details of on receipt of booking.

Train to teach mindfulness with confidence and ease.  
 
The cost of this 6-day training retreat is £650 which includes all lunches along drinks and snacks. You can secure your place by paying £100 deposit today. 
 
Each day will consist of mindfulness and compassion meditation and the exploration of themes such as letting go, enquiry, trust, teaching from your own experience. There will be group work and the opportunity to teach a variety of practices. There will be a maximum of 12 participants. 
Our Mindfulness training programme has two options. 
 
OPTION 1, You can attend the 6 (consecutive) day training retreat which will prepare you to teach mindfulness in the setting of your choosing. A lot of people choose this option as this training is all they need. You will receive a certificate of mindfulness skills from Mindfulness CIC

There will be one full day of silent meditation practice during the mindfulness training retreat so we can focus on our own meditation practice. This day will also show you how to set up and run a day retreat of your own once you start teaching.

Each day will begin at 10.00am and end at around 4.30. There will be breaks and lunch (which is provided) will be at 1.00pm 
 
There is local accommodation available for those who will be travelling. 
 
The 6-day comprehensive mindfulness training retreat will enable you to teach:

• With a certificate in mindfulness skills from Mindfulness CIC 
 
• With the support and backing of very experienced teachers 
 
You will also be able to: 
 
• “Plug into” our network of mindfulness teachers 
 
• Deepen your practice with our courses for further development 
 
OPTION 2, After the six-day training retreat you can choose to enter into the 12-month training pathway which includes: 
 
Four group skype/webinar supervision sessions – every three months. 
Three individual sessions, these can be both supervision and advice on setting up a course – phone or skype 
The use of all our materials and course booklet 
The use of the mindfulness cic app (which includes full eight-week course and a selection of guided meditations) for yourself and to provide for your clients 
 
The cost of this 12 months pathway is £395 for the 12 months. 
Payable after the 6-day training retreat. Once your 12 months have passed you will be registered as a teacher of the Vision and Transformation Mindfulness and Compassion course. We will pass your details onto people who wish to attend a course in your area. 
PLEASE NOTE: Although Suryacitta co-designed and lecture on the MSc in mindfulness and compassion this mindfulness training is not academic in nature but is experiential.

Many mindfulness teachers find themselves falling short as they begin to attempt to communicate the wonderful teachings of mindfulness. Becoming confident in teaching takes time, but can be rapidly accelerated with the help of an experienced mentor. Learning to be comfortable ‘within' yourself whilst allowing silence to do the teaching, will not only enhance your own mindfulness practice, but will make your teaching more elegant, effective and beautiful.
